My boyfriend and I are going to be renting a car and travelling up the coast from Malaga to Barcelona in late October. We are planning to stop somewhere in the Almeria/Cabo de Gata Natural Park area for one night and spend the following day exploring the park before continuing on to Alicante in the evening. Just looking for any tips about the Cabo de Gata Natural Park to help us out, because it's such a huge area of land to cover and obviously, we can't do it all in the time we have. What are particular highlights? We want to keep costs down as much as possible, and beaches are definitely highest on the list of things we want to focus on. Any information would be helpful, thanks!
