I'm thinking about trying Cabify in Madrid and Barcelona rather than using conventional taxi service and wondered if anyone has had any experience with it.

I didn't use Cabify, but MyTaxi and Hailo work really well in Madrid and Barcelona. I like that it's integrated into Google Maps directions and I saw many city taxis with MyTaxi and Hailo decals on them. The average wait (according to Google) was less than 5 minutes.
