After a great lunch at Olvera’s La Tarara Neotaberna and stopping off at Zahara we opted to take the mountain pass road CA-9104 to Grazalema. Unfortunately, the road was blocked at marker 8km and we had to turn back. I suspect still closed from rock fall related to the storms earlier in year. For now stay safe and take the valley road by the lake.

At least the road from Olvera to Zahara was open. A couple weeks ago the road from Setenil de las Bodegas to Olvera was closed a few miles outside of Olvera. With no viable expedient alternative route, we too turned around and returned to Ronda.
Believe you meant road number CA-9104.
When driving in that area there were multiple places I noticed where the road had been repaired due all the rains a couple months ago.
