My wife and I will be spending a little over a week in Spain this November. We have (or will) purchase tickets in advance for the Alhambra in Granada and Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
The Rick Steves guidebook for Spain recommends buying tickets in advance for literally dozens of other attractions. However, we have found that our most enjoyable travel is when we are not locked in to a strict schedule.
So my question is this: In November when tourism numbers are down, is it still necessary to purchase tickets in advance or would it be okay to take our chances as a "walk-up customer"? And if there are other attractions that absolutely need an advance ticket - which ones do you suggest?
Thanks
