In late October, I'm setting sail on a Transatlantic cruise that leaves from Barcelona. I'll arrive the day before to do a little bit of sightseeing and stay overnight in a hotel. The next day, the same day the cruise ship departs at 5:00, I'd like to visit the Sagrada Familia basilica in the morning. I'd like to get the tickets online, but I'm finding their website a little bit confusing.
Here's what I'm interested in: getting tickets for 9:00am visit (when the basilica opens), doing an individually guided tour that lasts about an hour, and then taking the elevator up the towers. I went to the website and clicked on 9:00am visit. I clicked on 10:00am guided tour, which is the earliest opportunity. The website told me the earliest I could take the elevator according to this schedule is 11:15am. For some reason, it then automatically changed my visit time to 9:30am.
Any idea why my ticket was changed from 9:00am to 9:30am?
What do I do between 9:30am and 10:00am when the guided tour begins; does this mean I'm free to walk around inside, or wait somewhere for the tour guide?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
