we arrive at the barcelona airport, and I'm thinking it would be better to travel by bus or train than renting a car. north from barcelona our first stop is begur for several days, and then onto collioure, france, for severasl days. thanks for your suggestions. nick

If anything take into account that:
- Not all renting companies will allow you to take a rental across borders. Make sure you choose one that does.
- Begur doesn't have a train station so if you want to go by public transportation you have two options: either take a bus in Barcelona directly to Begur; or take the train to Blanes and then a bus to Begur.
- If you're staying in Begur for several days, think about wasted rental money if the car is to be parked those days.
