I am trying in investigate bus travel from Granada to Tarifa. Rome2Rio suggested using the Avanza Bus from Granada to Algeciras and on to Tarifa. On the Avanza online site, I could not find a bus that traveled this route. On RS site I have read to use the ALSA bus. Again on their online site, I cannot find a bus that travels this route. However, if I go to busbud online site, I find an ALSA bus that travels from Granada to Tarifa. I am very confused. Should I just book with busbud? Any suggestions? I appreciate any input. Thanks
For some reason I can't get onto the alsa website at the moment, but when I was booking my train or bus for Spain last year, you couldn't be too specific. For example, choose 'Madrid (all)' rather than 'Madrid (Atocha)'. And sometimes just change your browser.
give it a day, if you have only been looking today.
Also, depending on how far ahead you are looking, there might be seasonal schedule changes that don't allow you to look for dates. If looking far out, then do a dummy look closer to today's date.
I can get onto the ALSA site now, and have no problems finding schedules in March for Granada (all) to Algeciras
At https://www.alsa.com/en/web/bus/home, I also have no problem to type in and then select from the list Granada (all stations) and Algeciras (all stations), showing 4x/day during the first week in March. I would not bother to look much further ahead than that. There's lots of connecting bus service beween Algeciras and Tarifa, probably every half hour.
