Bus Sevilla to Ronda - station temporarily closed?

I have read all the posts about this topic, but I have a couple of specific questions. I've checked Los Amarillos....it says (translated) "station temporarily closed" when I put in my date of travel (June 8th).

Questions: Is this just their way of saying they don't have that schedule up yet/aren't allowing tickets to be booked yet?
Or, is the station closed right now?

Do I need to book these in advance....do they usually fill up in June?

Any other tips about securing this part of our journey would be welcome.

One more question re: Toledo to Madrid.....this appears to be a commuter train. Is there a need to book this in advance? Because it too shows unavailable for June 18.

THANKS!

Toledo to Madrid is a reserved, high-speed train, though short. There's no deadline to buy tickets, but they can sell out. I don't see any sold out massage now for that date; the 10 departures listed are all showing fares.

I've always bought Spanish and other European bus tickets on the day of travel. I don't have any info about the station.

'Is this just their way of saying they don't have that schedule up yet/aren't allowing tickets to be booked yet?'
If you are looking where I am looking - https://regular.autobusing.com/venta - you can see you cannot purchase after 31st May at present.

'Do I need to book these in advance....do they usually fill up in June?' - No one can possibly foresee how many might appear for a particular journey. If you want peace of mind purchase in advance, on-line or at the station when you arrive.

Toledo to Madrid - it is only a commuter train at commuter times of the day - peace of mind again.

We bought bus tickets for Seville to Ronda the day before just so we would be sure where the station was but I think you would have no trouble the day of. Sorry no idea about the 'station closed' thing; hope a local can jump in on that. Even if the station is closed there must be a work around as this is a trip many people make every day.

We have also read that Toledo to Madrid sells out especially the evening return and so it is good to get it a bit ahead -- at least a few days, so you aren't left standing there watching the last train head back to your hotel.

There can be issues with buying last-minute train tickets at Madrid's Atocha Station. This morning, all the machines vending fast-train tickets seemed to be out of service, and on two evenings this week, they stopped, distributing numbers to because so many people were waiting.

I was fortunate to make my train after two employees couldn't agree on which counter was supposed to sell a regional connection to Cuenca (no doubt a fairly unusual purchase now that Cuenca has direct AVE service).

Hi Jennifer,
We just returned from a three week trip to Spain and Portugal. I had the same problem you are having. I did get bus tickets from Seville to Ronda right before we left on our trip. I had received that same message you mentioned, but I think it has to do with not allowing booking that far in advance. The station was open in both Seville and Ronda. I'm not sure you need to book in advance, but I always feel better knowing I have the time and date that I want in advance.

Also, we did a day trip out of Madrid to Toledo. I bought my train tickets on Rick's site. Personally, I just like to purchase my transportation and places to stay in advance.
I hope you have a wonderful trip. We especially loved Toledo! It is worth the trip.
