Bus from Seville to Ronda

I think Ronda is too far for a day trip from Seville via public transportation because you’d be on the bus 2-3 hours each way.
And… It looks like the last bus back to Seville is at 6:30pm.

We’d considered visiting Ronda (overnight) on our way to Sevilla, after having visited Granada, but we ended up skipping it.
I was traveling with my elderly mom (88) at the time and she was too tired and didn’t want another bus ride.

If you’re looking for an easy day trip from Sevilla, consider going to Córdoba instead.

You can take the fast train (AVANT or AVE) and the journey is only about 45 minutes each way.

Having said this, I’d recommend staying at least a couple of nights in Córdoba, in order to experience this beautiful city in the evening and early morning without the daytime crowds.

We took the bus from Seville to Ronda and spent the night. I wouldn’t do it as a day trip. If you are prone to motion sickness, take some meds for the bus ride.
