Bullfights in or near Malaga/Benalmadena

I am traveling to Malaga to visit the place my mother and father fell in love with. My father was a avid bullfight fan and I learned of the sport as a child. My mother recently passed away and told me to make sure I vist Malaga/Benalmadena

There’s nothing sporting about torturing an enclosed animal until it dies.

Im afraid you won't find much in the way of sympathy for Bull fighting on this forum. I'm not too fond of the sport myself, but I know there is a famous Bullring down in Malaga called La Malagueta- https://torosmalaga.es/

I see, English is not my first language, maybe sympathy is not the right word I was looking for...

Do a google search on bullfight and Malaga. There are a number of sites. One is servitoro.com. Home-tickets-Malaga should get you to the schedule for the fights in that province. Once the schedule is out for 2020 It will be on the site. I’ve never purchased a ticket online. The last bullfight I attended was 2007 and we just showed up at the ring. Get a seat in the shade (sombra). That will keep you out of the sun for much of the bullfight. As you’ve already found out, there are strong opinions about bullfighting, with some people commenting who have probably never attended one, while others have, and truly dislike them. One thing I will say is, you’ll either love them or hate them. There’s very little middle ground.
