Hi-
While understand parking in urban areas usually a challenge, better to leave car at Spain border public parking lot if exists or better (ie getting to all sites efficiently/comfortably) to bring car for exploring Gibraltar? Thank you. Dean
Many people (including me) recommend leaving the car in Spain (i.e. La Linea), then walking across the border. It's not just that parking in Gib can be problematic, but crossing the border in a vehicle can take time since the Spanish authorities often play silly buggers with their fantasy controls causing long queues. Occasionally when there is some new embarrassing cock-up in Madrid that the government wants to divert attention from, the Spaniards get even more officious.
There is a car park near the border (which charges).
Once you're on the territory, it is straightforward to get around by walking, public transport (i.e. bus), and taxi. And the cable car of course.
Terrific feedback thank you!
