Checking on Omio and Damas (regional bus line) it looks like bus schedules and tickets don't go on sale until the actual month you would like to travel. For example, today is August 7, and there is no scheduled bus after August 31 from Ronda to Seville. We plan to leave in mid-September and travel on October 7th from Ronda, as the direct bus gets to Seville much quicker than the train due to the route and the required transfer in Antequera.
This raises the question: when are the new bus schedules released? The limited evidence I have so far suggests that we will be traveling before October bus schedules are available.
