We are traveling from San Sebastian to Bayonne and see that there are buses available (1hr trip) and also a service called Bla Bla that appears to offer car or bus service? Anyone familiar with this route? Anyone ever use this Bla Bla company in Europe or Spain?

BlaBlaCar is well known in France. I assume across the border in Spain, too. My husband and I have used the ride share service. It worked fine for us. The driver has a specific day, time, route, and number of people in the car. Our driver dropped us at a tram stop in our city, after we rode with him for four hours from the Nice airport. BlaBlaCar ride share is promoted by the French government to reduce carbon emissions.
We haven't used the bus service yet.
For that trip, my first choice would be the train.
