I have booked a 7:00 AM flight from Bilbao to Barcelona on Vueling airlines. What time do I need to be at the airport to make the flight? With checked luggage? With carry on only? Thanks for any help you experienced travelers can offer.

Small airport, just one terminal, very easy to navigate and quite fast. It opens at 5am, so if you´re there by 0545 it´s plenty of time for checked luggage, 6pm is perfect for carry on only.

We also had an early flight and opted to stay at Hospedium Hotel Blu Loiu near the airport. It was an inexpensive way to give us some piece of mind. FYI, they don't speak much English, but we managed.
