We are planning to travel to Northern Spain this July. Likely starting in San Sebastian an working our way across Northern Spain and into Portugal for 4-5 weeks and concluding the trip in Porto.
What is the best way to get to the San Sebastian area?

Direct flight from Dublin to Bilbao and then a bus to Donostia-San Sebastian.
Or you can take a ferry from Rosslare.
I would take the Dublin-Bilbao flight but a back up option (in case flight dates/times don't work) would be Dublin-Bordeaux then take train to San Sebastian.
Why not fly Dublin to Biarritz on Ryanair?
