We are arriving by air in Sevilla. What's your recommendation for transfer from there to Cordoba & the start of our tour?
We were going to take the train but it there a better alternative to get to our hotel?

Frustratingly there are no buses from Seville airport to Córdoba, so the best way is probably to get to Santa Justa station in Seville first (airport bus or taxi), then take the train to Córdoba. There are three types of trains to Córdoba: expensive AVE (don't take those), cheaper AVANT that travel as fast as AVE (45 min), and even cheaper Media Distancia - MD - that take 1h20 (but it is rarely worth waiting for the next AVANT). AVANT and MD can be booked right before travel, the price does not change, so those are the options I would recommend.

Trains in Spain are easy and convenient, I think it's your best bet.
Just so you know for future questions, most people on the forum don't do RS tours, so it's helpful to post in the tour section and/or mention the name of your tour in the question.
