What is the Best way to get from Barcelona Airport Terminal 1 to El Born street Passeig del Born other than an Airport Cab?
Have you checked at the airport website: www.barcelona-airport.com/eng/transport_eng.php?
I'm afraid the airport bus mentioned above -named "Aerobus"- would leave Ron too far from his destination.
@Ron, a taxi will cost you 35€-40€ (approx) to that area and it's the most convenient way, trust me! Otherwise, your alternative is to take the free shuttle (green) to Terminal 2 at the airport, walk the long exterior corridor to the train station, purchase a T-10 travel card (10 journeys for roughly 10€), catch a train (any train as it's a terminus station) to the station of Sants in Barcelona (3 stops I believe), switch tracks (it's a very big station!) and grab a train to Estació de França station (1 stop) and then walk to Passeig del Born. In all, a pain in the neck and it can take you over an hour to get there. Note the T-10 is multiperson, so if you travel accompanied, the other person/s can use the same card, just insert the card into the machine once per each passenger.
Thanks Bill and Eric! Looks like the Airport Express Bus and a Cab or the Renfe train with an easy chage at Gracia. Now I can direct my research. Seem a little confusing before your posts.. previously looking a Fence site I wad not sure that you could get a train from the Airport to Francs station Thanks for your help.
