We need advice on how to travel from Madrid to Los Alcazares cheaply. Has anyone taken a bus? A cheap flight is not out of the question, but we have the time to go slowly and enjoy the view, as long as it doesn't take more than 6(ish) hrs. Thanks.

Yes, your cheapest way is sure to be bus. Surprise is you have a direct bus - www.alsa.es - presumably Los Alcazares is very popular.
