My husband and I are seniors. In October, we are traveling to Barcelona for the first time. We would like recommendations on transportation to our hotel that could be reserved in advance. TIA

It's much more sensible to just take a taxi..there is a long line outside the terminal and nothing could be easier. Price is about 30 euro or so depending on location of your hotel. Drivers are honest.
Otherwise just ask your hotel who they recommend.

You can prebook a taxi on Booking website. They will be waiting in the Arrivals area for you with your name on a sign. Alternatively, your hotel may arrange a car and driver....most likely at a higher cost, but you can at least deal with them directly if there are any issues once at the airport.

My wife and are seniors too. We traveled from BCN to our hotel near the Gothic Quater via taxi. It is extremely easy There are lines of taxis and you just grab the first one. The driver will help with luggage. I understand there is no fixed rate; our taxi used a meter. I don’t recall the exact price but we were dropped at the entrance to our hotel for less than 35E. Have a wonderful trip.
