I'll be in Barcelona for four days and not sure which book to purchase.
Best of Spain is the newest publication and has roughly 100 pages covering Barcelona. Spain 2018 is also relatively new with 150 pages for Barcelona. One of these is better than an older Barcelona book, right? Thanks.
The "meat" of the Barcelona coverage in either one of those wider-ranging books is enough for most trips, so yes, I would prefer one of the newer editions. The older Barcelona book includes more self-guided walking tours descriptions, which some might consider just the "gravy." See also just a couple of key updates online.
