Best part of Santa Semana in Seville?

Oops! I meant to ask this in my other topic I just posted.
I'd like to go to Seville for Santa Semana for 3-5 days (not the whole week). I'm wondering which is more interesting/picturesque/wonderful/not-to-be-missed part of the week. I saw Palm Sunday in a little Italian town a few years ago and it was great, but -- Easter Sunday and the days around it might wonderful also. Any opinions? Also, during this time are there certain places/events I should see?
Thank you.

I was in Northern Spain during Semana Santa. It seemed to me Holy Thursday (for me in Zaragosa) is the best in terms of the most processions and liveliest activities. There will be processions every day but, at least in Zaragosa, every group marches on Thursday.

Don't plan Barcelona during the week, there is only one procession the whole week, Good Friday, and it's not even put on by the church or locals; expats from Sevilla run it because they thought there needed to be something.

I'm going. This is what I've found so far.

  • The biggest celebrations are in Malaga and Sevilla
  • There are websites that detail the processions that take place each day. Start here
  • Things seem to culminate on Friday night. There is little or anything on Saturday, and celebrations are pretty toned down on Easter Sunday.
  • High, high season. If you want to go in 2016, hotels are filling up and prices are steep.
