Barcelona and Sevilla are the first and last hotels on the Best of Spain tour. Will reserve at least one additional night on both ends - interested in which is preferred for 4 to 7 additional nights. Interests include architecture, history, photography. Museum maybe. Food and wine not high on my list. Day trips possible if convenient - public transportation or small tour. A completely separate city - village also a maybe for a few nights instead. Tour date in Spring - April / early May. Appreciate all suggestions / comments. Thank you.

Do you mean the April 24-May 7 tour?
You won't see much of Sevilla on the tour, so I'd recommend at least one more night there.
The Patio Festival in Cordoba is on until May 15. Cordoba is my favorite Spanish city, well worth 2 full days and that sounds like a good time to visit. The Mezquita is a wow. You will want to be in Madrid on your last night for the flight home. There are frequent trains from Cordoba.
A week in Barcelona is not too much, as you will see from the links Enric's given you.
