Where would we find Taxi's in Toledo, Granada, Ronda, Seville is there an app we can use in those areas?
Worried we will be wondering streets trying to find a taxi or NOT :)
Would love to chat with a traveler who did this tour. Sooooo many questions:)

I am not aware of an app (doesn't mean there isn't one!). Taxis are available at taxi stands. In Toledo there is one just past Plaza Zocodover, in Granada on Plaza Nueva/Plaza Santa Ana. Also other places, like the train/bus station, near major intersections, and at fancy hotels. They also sit outside major tourist sights as long as those sights are on roads with traffic. For example, a billion taxis congregate at the Alhambra parking/entrance area. You can also call one - each city should have a number for the taxi service.

Here is a website about Granada https://granadainfo.com/taxiinfo.htm
Other cities should have similar info if you look up "taxis in [city]" or "taxi stand" or "taxi rank".

You can ask where one is at any touristy place - sight, restaurant, store. I believe the term is paradas de taxi (thats what I've said and it was understood, but I don't know if it's the common local term). A restaurant would also call a taxi for you at the end of your meal, or your hotel could arrange one.

Side tours to where? Are you planning to go to other towns in Spain?

I took this tour eight years ago and spent my free afternoons in the places we were staying. Because the RS hotels are usually quite centrally located, you often can walk to many of the local sites. In Madrid, I used the metro to get to some of the museums I wanted to see. In Barcelona, I used both buses and the metro. Toledo, Granada, Ronda, and Sevilla are all very walkable; where is it that you want to go?

I've also done this tour (pretty sure with Laura, prior poster!) and agree you probably won't need taxis unless you're going somewhere way outside the tourist center. Madrid and Barcelona transit are easy to use. More specifics about what you want to see would be helpful. PM with questions, happy to help.

Taxis cruise around in Barcelona and (even more) Madrid - just hail one. They're also at taxi stands in all your cities; stands are often marked on maps. If you're somewhere not near a taxi stand, you can ask for one to be called for you (say, in a restaurant). I believe that if you call a taxi, the meter starts running when the driver gets the call, so you taxi arrives with a few euros extra already on the meter; this is legitimate. Similarly, there are lots of legitimate supplements, which are posted in the taxi (such as for picking up at a train station, or for each item put in the trunk).

I've never had a problem in Spain with a taxi not being honest. Not to say that it can't happen, of course, but I've always been pleased with my Spain taxi experiences (more than I can say about some other places).

I agree that you should post exactly where you intend going on your free time; we may be able to suggest other, cheaper ways of getting there.

I did this tour in April of 2016, it is a wonderful tour. Very interesting, very diverse stops and experiences. During the days of the tour, I don't think I ever used a taxi. Walked almost everywhere, a metro or two in Barcelona or Madrid. I don't think a taxi would be useful unless (1) you have challenges with mobility, and can't walk much extra; or (2) you are headed for a specific restaurant far from your hotel, instead of going to the best one nearby; or (3) you are going outside of the cities or towns you are visiting, although you would rarely have enough free time to do that. I hope you are arriving a day or more early in Barcelona, as the tour spends very little time there, and there are many, many more sites and experiences in Barcelona, and also in places a ways from Barcelona. I can't imagine you will be wandering the streets looking for a cab. I spent extra time in and around Barcelona before the tour, and in Andalusia after the tour, although I realize not everyone has the time to do that.

I don't know anything about the scheduling on the tour, but I can tell you that it would be most unusual to finish a restaurant lunch in Barcelona by 1 PM since lunch doesn't seem to start until later than that. Tapas are available by about noon, and you can get something like a sandwich or salad at a café around then.

Not sure what you mean by the OCD references, is that just that you want to see and experience many things, or that you are a serious planner, or do you really have problems?
On the tour, I remember the visit to Sagrada Familia ended about 1 pm, inside the church. You could spend more time there, perhaps to ascend a tower (that likely requires advanced ticketing), or move on. I remember I left a little early to walk 15 minutes to the nearby Sant Pau Modernista hospital complex, where I had reserved an English language tour for 1 pm. Certainly you could eat and get to the Palau de la Musica Catalana by 3:00 pm. That tour takes about an hour. By the way, the cafe at that venue is very nice and reasonable for a light meal, coffee, dessert, etc. Then you would have time for another late afternoon or evening visit to some other site. Your RS guide can give you guidance about what to do and how best to get there, although various sites in Barcelona do require buying tickets in advance. Not sure of your reference to a casino, I have never seen that mentioned as a site to visit, and I have no idea where it is.
About Segovia, it was a nice day. I remember starting at the famous and beautiful aqueduct, walking through town to the Alcazar (I can’t remember if we toured as a group, I did not find it outstanding like the Alcazar in Sevilla. When we were there, the front facade was all covered in scaffolding, diminishing any visual impact.) then we had free time to explore Segovia before meeting up at the restaurant for the suckling pig luncheon, which is an experience and tasty meal. I suppose if that doesn’t appeal to you at all, you could skip it, do something else in Segovia, or even return to Madrid early, by public transit instead of the group bus. Just make sure your guide knows your plans. I think the bus returned to Madrid soon after the mid-afternoon lunch.
I have been on 9 RS Tours, and so far, none of the buses have had wi-fi that I remember. That may be a new feature that is coming, who knows.
The Andalusian Horse facility we visited did not include any performance, just horses of different ages in group or individual stalls, and some going through their paces with trainers, also the insemination facilities. I’m not sure if every tour goes to the same place for the same activities, that may depend on the day, the season or the guide.
Hope all that is helpful. I found that part of the fun of the tour is not knowing just what to expect every day, it will all be good.

But yes, a morning walking tour in a city would normally be done by 1:00 p.m., leaving you free for your quick lunch and afternoon plans.

They have changed the itinerary since I took the tour, so here's my best guess.

Day 2 in Barcelona RS TOUR : Gothic Quarters, Sangrada Familia Here

If you really want to go to Catala Palue de la Musica Catalana and Casa Batllo, pick the very latest times available. I agree that "free time" will probably start after 1 p.m.. If you are arriving in Barcelona early, I'd suggest trying to fit one or more of things in on your early arrival (if they're bucket list items) to make sure you can see them. Personally, I loved Casa Mila.

Sorry I can't answer your other questions, I took the tour in 2010 (no wifi on buses) and our particular tour visited the horse farm (not the show) in Andalucia (it was the time of year - no shows were going on).

In Barcelona and Madrid, taxis can be slow because of traffic and the metro can be faster.

If you plan to go to the casino be sure you have your passport with you. No admission without it.
