Was planning in fall - now spring. First tour starts April 23 - my first guess is weather-wise the first 6 weeks or so, historically have similar temps. Definitely will have at least one night pre-tour and one night post. Planning on spending up to additional two weeks in Spain on my own. Had considered Portugal - but thinking that may be getting too much. And lots in Spain Recommendations as to additional nights in Cordoba or Seville, first and last tour hotels? As to the rest of my stay - what not to miss? Thinking 2, maybe 3 locations for base - nearby day trips. maybe. No car. Realize very subjective. My interests are history, architecture, photography. Food / cooking classes / wine tasting is not a priority. Thank you.
