After a few days in Sevilla we are going to stay a night in Ronda then move on to Granada for a few days. Our itinerary is set with Alhambra tickets, hotels etc. I am looking for the best--meaning least stressful, most pleasant--mode of transportation from Sevilla to Ronda to Granada. Should we rent a car for the day and a half or take a bus or train? If the latter, I am hoping we won't have to transfer from train to bus or vice versa. We aren't going to other cities (in which case a car would certainly be worth it). Since Ronda is just an overnight I was thinking to avoid fussing with car rental. Suggestions??
Last year we took the bus from Sevilla to Ronda, and we took the train from Ronda to Granada. As part of the Ronda-to-Granada route, the train ticket includes a transfer to buses since they’re working on the tracks (or something). It’s no big deal; the buses are lined up at the train station waiting for the passengers and take off as soon as they are filled. All of those transportation types were nice. Their buses are the new deluxe type.
Enjoy your time in beautiful Spain!
