I purchased airfare and have a rough itinerary set for 16 days on the ground with 4 nights in Seville. We've never been and looking for good neighborhoods to walk at night, boutique hotels and breakfast included is always a plus. We arrive by train and will probably taxi to hotel. Budget about $200 nightly. Traveling in mid October. We want to day trip to Cadiz. Any tips appreciated.
We loved Hotel Fernando III Sevilla. The breakfast was outstanding and the location was perfect. https://maps.app.goo.gl/7kQgRLSSvJCVwcLw6
You'd have to check the prices as we went in 2022, but we loved El Rey Moro in Seville. Great location, nice room, tasty breakfast, and near lots of tasty restaurants.
We just returned from Spain. For Sevilla, we stayed at Las Casas de El Arenal this time. It’s very handy to the cathedral & nice restaurants and on a quiet street. I paid €330 for two nights.
Here’s my trip report I posted yesterday:
I also recommend El Rey Moro where I stayed in 2013. When I travel, I rarely care about the hotel, just so long as it's quiet, but I wished I could stay in Sevilla longer just for the hotel. The town itself is wonderful.
We have enjoyed stays at Colon Gran Melia, recently, and King Alfonso XIII, years ago. Both are wonderful hotels but Alfonso Xlll is exceptional but pricey.
Consider Hotel Becquer. We stayed there in October 2017.

We also took a day trip to Cadiz. We booked a small-group tour (2 couples) that also stopped in Jerez de la Frontera through Naturanda.
Highly recommend H10 Casa de la Plata. Had a great stay there in September, 2023 and would happily return.
Thanks for all the suggestions. We decided on El Rey Moro and found a pretty good deal. It was one I had my eye on beforehand, too.
Which area to stay is the best to stay in Seville walking distance to main attractions and restaurants?
