We are traveling to Barcelona in the middle of September and wanted to get away from the city for a few days and head to the beach. Any suggestions for a beach town near Barcelona? We might be renting a car, so an hour or two outside the city is fine. Thank you!

There are several nice towns on the Costa Braca, north east of Barcelona, like Blanes, Loret Del Mar, Calella, and the very famous Cadaques, just to name a few.
Do a search on line on the most beautiful towns of the Costa Brava, check photos online (like on Google Images) then decide.
