Beach Time- Mallorca or south of Spain

I originally had Mallorca in my travel plans for Spain but after a lot of feedback about how nice the south of Spain is, I’m rethinking this.

Question- of these two regions, which has nicer beaches (fine sand and beautiful water)? If south of Spain, which area would you recommend for nice beaches and nightlife?

We travel the first 3 weeks of June.

Thanks in advance.

Well... what language do you prefer for people to speak on your vacation beaches and nightlife? Choose accordingly. ;-)

Have you thought about Ibiza? It’s my understanding it has nice beaches and nightlife. In southern Spain the Costa del Sol has beaches and nightlife. Most popular are Marbella and Torremolinos. Very touristy June through mid-September and plenty of British expats, so you won’t get a feel of what Spain is like elsewhere (but I get the feeling you’re looking more for the fun). I’ve never been to Mallorca.

Fine sand beaches are really not a thing in Europe, especially the Mediterranean. We’ve been to both area and would not go to either for the beaches, but would go to both for the food, sites and atmosphere.

You absolutely need the second half of that sentence to make that a true statement. :-)

We have some of the best fine sand beaches anywhere in the world. It's just that those don't come with a guaranteed 30°C and sunny weather at all times.
