hello - my mum and i are coming to barcelona - 4 full days and 2 half days of travel (in and out). I have been before - she has not - so we will be doing a bunch of the touristy stuff, flamenco and nice meals.
One day i would like to spend on the beach: What do you recommend between - Barcelonata, Sitges, or Costa Brava? We have been to a lot of good beaches around the world and love a good beach - not looking for the perfect beach - but hoping for somewhere we can get beach chairs/ food/ drinks service and a beautiful surrounding - we will take public transport, not driving.
1) Barcelonata - what beach clubs do you recommend? I just emailed Salt at W but any other ideas?
2) Costa Brava - day trip worth it or no? and is there beach clubs here too for a day pass?
3) Sitges - Know its closer than Costa Brava - but are the beaches nice? Loooks very hilly .
Which of these 3 would you recommend? Also would you say we do the barcelonata beach and do Girona (or Montserrat) for the day trip? Would love some help here.
Other places we will go: Gothic qtr, sagrada, casa mila/batlo, park guell, ramblas, boqueria mkt, maybe montjuic.. bars like paradiso and Sip (will reserve).
