My husband and I are renting a car and touring various sites in the Basque Country. Can anyone recommend a good road paper map for the Basque Country?
Also, which Map App works best in Spain...Google, Apple, Waze?

Best map would be Michelin #573 Spain North. I’ve used all 3 apps and they basically appreciate equal. Choose the one with you are most comfortable.
Edit: I believe the map is available at Amazon.

I m a Basque living in the Basque Country and you can use all of them: Google Maps, Waze, Apple...whatever, all of them work perfectly fine.

I used downloaded Google maps (offline) a couple months ago in Spain and it worked fine. It took me straight to the places I had saved off. A couple times in cities and between tall buildings it lost the satellite signal for a very short period. Once not surrounded by the tall buildings it re acquired the satellite quickly.

Michelin is recommended
The Zoom series at 1;150,000 no 143 and 144 covers the coastal area
