How long in distance does the tour hike the Camnio de Santiago trail ?

It might have been best to post this in the RS tour section, as I assume that's the tour you are referring to?

The itinerary for day 5 includes 2 hours bus, lunch, and a wine tasting visit. I'd be surprised if it was more than an hour or 2. Perhaps the RS office can give you an idea of distance, but I suspect it will depend on weather and decisions made on the day.

Which one are you doing? I'm signed up for the May 10 start.

When I went, we hiked from Alto del Perdon to the Church of Saint Mary of Eunate.

According to googlemaps, this is 8.6 km. It was a beautiful walk.

We did this in 3 legs and we checked in at the end of each leg. The bus waited at the end of each leg, so if someone wanted to take the bus rather than hike, they could take the bus for the next leg.

The first leg was downhill and very rocky with lots of loose stones. Wear good shoes. I bought a collapsible hiking pole in St Jean Pied de Port and was glad that I had it for that leg. The last two legs were relatively flat.

Great view of the countryside from Alto de Perdon. We visited it in 2017 after watching the 2010 movie “The Way.”

We will be doing Leon to Santiago, approximately 200 miles in May/June 2019. 4 weeks duration. See you on the pilgrim trail.
