Barcelona with 6 and 8 year old daughters

We will be in Barcelona in July for 3 days with our daughters who are 6 and 8 years old. It will be our first time to Barcelona and we were thinking about doing a walking tour. Does anyone have a recommendation for one that is kid friendly or a private tour guide?

Any insight would be much appreciated on what your kids loved most in Barcelona. Thanks!!

My kids 10, 12 loved the Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia church, the hop on hop off bus tour that took us all around and out to the Olympic sights plus they loved walking around the la boqueria market and the Ramblas. Runner Bean Tours offer family walking tours for free but expect a tip. www.runnerbeantours.com That could be a good option. The old expo sight offers water , music light shows sounds fun but we didn't try it.

The "fountain of lights" show is really nice at night and the kids would like it.

The "free" walking tour mentioned above sounds fun. We are a family of 4 kids are 17 and 9. The only tours that are available while we are there are the "Gaudi" tour, and the "old town" tour. Has anyone taken either of these tours and how did you like it? Can you recommend one of these two tours over the other? With only 4 people in our party is that a problem booking a your?

Thank you so much!! Those tours look really good. I think we will try either that or Discover Walk.
