Hi wonderful community! I am spontaneously deciding to go to Barcelona from Lisbon after 3 weeks in Portugal as I’m newly retired. I didn’t research Barcelona like I did Portugal and so on short notice what would you advise - AirBB or hotel for 6 nights? I do like to walk alot but sleep with windows open so evening quiet is good! I welcome your suggestions

Your accommodation in Barcelona depends on what you feel is the best fit for you. Hotels offer the convenience of meals and room service. On the other hand, Airbnb can save you on hotel cost to better enjoy your stay. I can recommend an area i stayed in Barcelona call the Gracia neighborhood. Here is a guide of the neighborhood:

It's away from the tourist center but not too far and is a very quiet area.
