Train from the airport to Sants station, the main hub in Barcelona. Then fast train (AVE) to Tarragona (http://www.renfe.com), it takes 30', and then taxi to the hotel -the station for the high-speed train is in the outskirts of the city, the name of the station is Camp de Tarragona. If you prefer the station inside Tarragona (appropriately named Tarragona, duh!) then you need to take a regular train, which takes 1h (http://rodalies.tk)
