To/from Granada via Antequera: need Renfre travel info

Hi,
North American traveler here. Can someone please help me? Have you traveled to/from Granada via Antequera-Santa Ana train station recently? I need information for my upcoming trip, which I have summarized below followed by some specific questions. Thank you in advance!

Traveling to Granada from Barcelona:

Leg 1: Renfre AVE-line 3990: Barcelona-Sants --> Antequera-Santa Ana // Leg 2: Renfre Media Distancia-line 13065:
Antequera-Santa Ana --> Granada

Traveling to Ronda from Granada:

Renfre Media Distancia-line 13064: Granada --> Ronda (via Antequera-Santa Ana station)

Question 1) Are the Media Distancia lines 13064/13065 (between Algeciras to Granada) fully operating? I booked my train tickets online using LOCO2, and I didn't see any advisories while reserving my tickets. However, upon doing research, I found the following advisory regarding the Antequera-Granada segment of the route: "Due to the construction of the AVA line, Granada station is closed until end of 2015 and the section from Antequera Santa Ana is served by a special bus service."
http://www.andalucia.com/travel/trains/algeciras-granada.htm

Is the advisory still in effect?

Question 2) I just noticed that written at the bottom-left-hand corner of my tickets both to/from Granada reads: "Bus Antequera Granada Consulte Transbordos Bus." Is this an advisory? What does it mean (roughly: consult with the bus operator about bus service between Antequera and Granada)?

Question 2) If train service to/from Granada via Antequera is not currently operating, how do I make the connection at Antequera-Santa Ana station? Is there a bus station on premise at the Santa Ana station or do I need to travel to a bus station by taxi in order to make the connection? Is my Renfre train ticket valid on the bus? Will the bus disembark at the time listed on the train ticket??

Yes, the advisory is still under effect according to the Renfe website.
You can find it under 'avisos' ( Spanish version only) then under 'Andalucía'.
Basically, Renfe has been renovating the railway between Antequera & Granada since April 2015.

When we traveled to Andalucía last October, I did much research about the train traveling to Granada.

We traveled from Córdoba to Granada but opted to take the bus instead of the AVE + Bus combination.

So, to answer your question, your ticket Barcelona to Granada is an AVE + Bus combination ticket. This means that you will travel by AVE train from Barcelona to Antequera Santa Ana Station, where you will transfer to a bus which will then take you to Granada.
You will be guided to the bus once you arrive at Antequera. You will not need a separate bus ticket nor to take a taxi to the bus. You should arrive to Granada at the time specified on your ticket, unless the train happens to be delayed.

I'm sure others will give you more specific details regarding the train to bus transfer.

When is your trip?

Did you already book your Alhambra tickets?

Enjoy your trip!

No one, least of all Renfe it would seem, knows when the upgrade works will be completely. Renfe operates shuttle buses between the Antequera and Granada train stations, with personnel to guide you. The buses are timed to meet the trains and arrive and leave from the Granada train station, not the bus station (which is farther from the center).

BTW, most people recommend flying from Barcelona to Granada to save time.

Thanks so much, Priscilla and Chani! You have helped me out a lot!

In case this is helpful to anyone who is also seeking information, I just received additional clarification via email from the people who run the site I booked my tickets from: "For the journey between Antequera and Granada there will be "rail replacement bus service". The bus departs from the entrance to Antequera station and you will be able to travel on it with your existing train tickets. You can find more information in our help article (linked here: http://help.loco2.com/article/393-granada-to-antequera-engineering-works)."

Priscilla: I will arrive in Granada at the end of May. Regarding Alhambra tickets, I had a scare last week when I went to ticketmaster to buy tickets only to find them completely sold out the days that I will be in Granada. Luckily, the hotel I will be staying at was able to help me book tickets at no additional cost (in fact, the credit card charge was made to Ticketmaster and not the hotel).
