HI all, my friend and I will be in Spain for two weeks. We fly into Barcelona where we will stay a few days and then plan to go directly to Granada and spend the rest of the time in Andalucia.
Does anyone know what the fastest method is to get from Barcelona to Granada? Will leave Barcelona around May 1.

Agreed. Flying vueling is easiest.
We flew Vueling from Barcelona to Granada last week and it was very cheap but Vueling is like a cattle call! Make sure you get to the airport very early and be ready to fight your way through on boarding.

Yes, I bought them well in advance (4 months) and I would get to the airport a full 2 hours early.
Yes, 2 hours early at the Barcelona airport. I personally go for 2.5 in Europe, just because I am a paranoid mess. I always end up sitting around, though. The standard is 2 hours for domestic flights, which should be fine.
The Granada airport is very small, so if you are flying out of it you won't need 2 hours - it is likely that your flight is the only one leaving at that time. But Barcelona is a large, busy airport, so 2 hours is smart.
For VUELING, it looks like the "Basic" option (economy option) means you can bring a carry on and pay extra for forward seating. Has anyone had any problems with going with the cheaper "Basic" option vs. the "Optima" option? Thanks!
