I understand that the train line from Zaragoza to Canfranc is open and running again but I am not able to find any tickets for end of April. I am hoping to go to Canfranc for a couple of days to stay in the newly opened hotel. Are they not running the train at that time? Any ideas of how to book them? Thanks in advance.

The Renfe schedule for Zaragoza to Canfranc only goes out until the end of March right now. There appear to be two regional trains a day; a morning train leaving at 06:57 or 08:55 (depending on day of the week) and an afternoon train at 15:53.
The new train station is only a couple minutes walk from the hotel. When I visited in 2022 I had a rental car and the old train station being turned into a hotel was still under construction. The scenery in that area is spectacular. Unless engaged in outdoors activities like skiing there’s little to Canfranc-Estación to keep one occupied.
Near the hotel are a few post WWII bunkers.
