Rick mentions a two-hour Barri Gothic tour. Anyone done it? Is is different/better than Rick's walking tour? There is also a two-hour TI Picasso walk. Has anyone done it? Worthwhile?

I did both back in 2016. I think the Barri Gotic tour is of more general interest to the typical tourist, but if you have time, you can consider the Picasso tour as well. I haven't done Rick's walk so I can't compare the content to what the TI offered. In general, I think a live guide, of whom you can ask questions, is worth something. One thing I noticed was that the "free"-tour groups were considerably larger than the TI tour group I was on. I also had more confidence in a TI-endorsed guide than in someone depending on tips who might be inclined to embellish the facts for dramatic effect.
