FYI - I am in Barcelona Spain and I just overheard the front desk of my hotel say that the taxis are on strike (not sure if this started today or not - 6/11/2014 or not).

The taxi strike is supposedly in support of issues with fellow taxi drivers in London. Found info that it is a 24 strike that started at 6 am this morning.
