Barcelona-Sants and Barcelona Todas

What's the difference between those two train station? Because I will arrive in Barcelona in the morning and I'm going straight to Madrid. But before that I'm going to eat lunch in Barcelona first before I go to Madrid. I'm not going to stay in Barcelona. Now my questions is, what train station should is near at the airport, Barcelona-Sants or Barcelona Todas?

Thank you

Todas is the Spanish word for all. High speed trains to Madrid leave from Sants.

As Badger said, you’ll be taking the train to Madrid from Sants Station. You’ll need to make your way into town (variety of options for that trip) and probably find somewhere near the station to have lunch.

I have one more question. I'm stuck here at abbreviations of Document. it is besides document type. Is it asking about my passport number since I'm coming from USA?
Thank you.

As said above.

Unless you have already a specific place for lunch, if I were you I'd do as follows: take the train from the airport to Barcelona-Sants, leave your luggage at the "consigna" at the station, from there, there are quite a number of places for lunching a stone throw away. Depending on the time availability you could venture a little farther (or not). When leaving for Madrid you're going to do so from this station.

At less than 10" on foot, there's https://tdk.cat/ which I personally like, it offers a great sample of local traditional Catalan cuisine. If you go Mon to Sat at lunchtime you can have "menu del dia", which is very cheap and worth taking advantage of. There are plenty of others in the area, as I said, such as https://ca.lateregastrobar.com/ or https://www.lamundana.cat/ And if you fancy something lighter, such a tapas lunch, definitively https://www.elcellerdelnoupriorat.cat/tapas-i-platets/ which offers lots of tapas with local products: cheeses, seafood and meats.

Enjoy!

Yes, for document use your passport number. Sometimes there’s an option/dropdown to label it as Passport or DNI/NIE, which are only for Spanish residents.
