In October, my husband and I will be staying for a few days in Barcelona. Do you have any recommended restaurants? We understand that are some, or most restaurants, that reservations are important and we are ready to start placing reservations. We walk around. Find ourselves in front of a restaurant that appears to be OK.
Tracie pulls up TripAdvisor and I look at Yelp.
If “good”, we enter.
Not seeking the perfect experience, but definitely trying to avoid a terrible one.
This works 90+% of the time for us.

This is always tricky, firstly because everybody has his own expectations and secondly because there are far too many bars and restaurants to be constantly in the loop -even for us residents.
