Barcelona restaurant suggestions

Not a "restaurant" suggestion, but my wife and I loved pintxos for dinner - usually from 2 or 3 different bars. We'd find a place with a lot of interesting variety, order a drink, and pick a few that looked interesting/tasty. We'd share our opinions and maybe try each other's favorite from the bar, and then move to another spot. We ended up having favorite bars - for the mix of food and friendliness and location - but it was a real fun way to have "dinner" versus our normal sit at a table and order from a menu. We were right by the Basílica de Santa Maria del Pi, so there were many options and lots of people watching too.
