I'm planning a visit to Barcelona in April.
Is the new tourist attraction Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau is worth visiting?
Do you like Modernism (aka Art Nouveau)?

In two words, YES DEFINITELY.
Combine it with your visit to Sagrada Familia
I explored the grounds in 2009 while they were still restoring. It blew me away.
A friend visited in January and she said it was her Barcelona highlight.
Thanks both of you for your replies which were helpful.
I was there last month. It's an easy 15-20 minute walk from La Sagrada Familia along av. de Gaudi (and lots of options along the way to stop for a drink or lunch). Beautiful. Don't skip it. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Added bonus - it was a hospital, so there are lots of bathrooms.
Thanks, Chani.
Did you take the guided tour?
There was no guided tour. It's a self-guided tour with a map and (if I remember correctly) an audio guide. There were staff people in strategic places to assist in following the route. If no one tells you, ask when you get the map which buildings are open to the public. Most are in use (offices) but a few have rooms that you can visit.
Thanks Chani for your helpful information.
We asked about a guided tour because there 2 daily guided tours in English.
Indeed, there is now a guided visit: http://www.santpaubarcelona.org/en/visits But note the site opened its doors just last year and at the beginning there was no guided visit, but a self-guided tour only, maybe Chani visited then.
I was there just over a month ago, on February 26.
huh?... then the guided tours were already available :))
Enric, Chani, thanks to both of you for your help.
We plan to go there after our visit to the Sagrada Familia (we have 10AM tickets). It depends when we will arrive at the site. If it will be around 1PM we will take the guided tour, if not we will visit by ourselves. From there to Park Guell.
For info, after Sant Pau you can take a bus #92 to Park Güell... the stop is just next to the main entrance and it'll take you 100m from the east gate of the park: http://bit.ly/BCNbus92
Thanks, Enric, for the most helpful advice.
