Barcelona, Pyrenees and Mallorca

Hi! We are travelling to Spain - end September/October to try and make it more affordable. However we are mindful of weather. We originally thought to go to Barcelona, then Mallorca (6 days) then the Pyrenees (hiking). But given weather may do Pyrenees first? The trip in total is 3.5 weeks. We fly in and out of London.

My question is: What part of the Pyrenees is best to go to from Barcelona (we don't mind driving) for a 5-6 day trip. Online research seems to be that Navarre is best - but I wonder if the Catalanes are as beautiful? We like green mountains, hiking, historic towns and relaxation; as well as exploring unique landscapes.
And second: If you were to spend 5- 6 days in Mallorca, any tips on the best landing place for relaxation? We looked online and are a bit overwhelmed by choices. The mountains looked good, but seemed far from the sea. We are not into night life, but do like a vibrant place, with culture, and quiet, and walking etc, and using public transport (though open to car hire if needed).
Thanks all!
