Barcelona Private Tour with Kids

Hi, in Barcelona it's about 50/50 between Spanish and Catalan (they are co-official languages), I think there will be plenty of opportunities to practice both.

As for private tours, I am not sure about ones specifically for children. However, I would recommend checking out the Maritime Museum of Barcelona (located next to the Columbus statue), it was recently renovated and brings to life the medieval/Renaissance naval history of Barcelona in a fairly kid friendly and hands on way. 1.) Catalan is indeed the local language, and you'll notice that more outside of the metropolis of Barcelona. But if you use Spanish people will understand you as well since Spanish is also studied at the school and also because there are lots of people whose ancestors were from elsewhere in Spain and they maintain Spanish as their mother tongue.
