Hi. Looking for Barcelona-moderate 3-4* hotel for 3 persons for July for 2 nights. We have 6 (4 young adults/2 60 yr old parents) and would like to split into 2 3 person rooms. In the alternative 3 2 person rooms. Our budget is 600 euros total per night, but would like to come in lower. We'd like central area, such as Sagrada Familia, Gothic, etc. We booked at Hotel Colon, but it's over budget. Thanks, Elaine

Have you looked into Air B&B/VRBO? Booking.com apartment rentals? For a big group these can be great options, and you should be able to find some for 2 nites.

yes. I looked at apartment rentals. For beds for everyone (vs. bunkbed, 2 on a foldout sofa), in a good area, the pricing was similar or more than my budget.
