Hi,
I found this link to purchase unlimited public transport tickets in Barcelona. It is called T-usual and costs 20E per 30 days. They seem to be heavily discounted. Does anyone know if the prices apply to visitors as well and it is safe to purchase for 10 day visit?

I used the T-usual this summer for my 12-day trip to Barcelona. I was able to purchase one from the vending machines in the metro stations. It worked great the whole time I was there. I believe the listed price is for anyone.
The T-usual doesn't have a separate price. We used what was called the T10 for our week visit. We stayed in the city center so sometimes walked to some of the sights. Barcelona has a wonderful bus/metro system.
I doubt you'll be using that much public transportation during those 10 days for this offer to be worthwhile to you. Unless you plan to be taking metros and buses at every moment -which I seriously doubt- you're better off buying one T-CASUAL card (10 journeys at a discounted price of 7.95€) or two, should you need it.
Note that both T-CASUAL and T-USUAL are nominative cards, that is, only one person can use them. Should you prefer to buy a card you and the other members of your party can use, search for the T-FAMILIAR card (8 journeys for 10€), which can be used by all the members of the party -just stick the card once into the machine for every person using the card.
Btw, for info, the T-USUAL needs to be linked to a valid form of ID (whether is a National ID or a passport) which will be printed on the card when purchased. You need to carry that form of ID with you when using the public transportation system since if there's a spot check you'll be asked to present the form of ID that backs up that card, or risk a fine. This is NOT the case with the T-CASUAL or the T-FAMILIAR, there no ID form is needed.
@heather: T-10 does no longer exist, now it has been renamed T-Casual
