Barcelona in 3-1/2 days and beyond...

We will be arriving in Barcelona in the late afternoon after many hours of travel. i'm thinking the first full day will be exploring La Rambla area, El Born and El Raval ending at Barceloneta. Hit a few sites in those areas. Day two would be Sagrada Familia and the rest of the Gaudi world in Eixample. La Pedrera, Parc Guell and Casa Batllo. Day three will be a day trip to Monserrat and the morning of day four Montjuic.
We can't extend for more days because we leave on the evening of day four for Cadiz (two days) then Sevilla for three days. On to Cordoba foe a one day visit then Madrid for three days. Probably work in a day tour to Segovia or Toledo. I know it's a bit rushed but we have to work in as much as we can this trip. We have been to Madrid before as well as Malaga, Granada, Ronda and Estepona.

I would appreciate any comments, many thanks

Too much travel.
Do Barcelona and Madrid. Nothing else.
Slow down, enjoy life.

Highly recommend a visit to Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau which is just a quick walk from Sagrada Familia. It was a highlight of our time in Barcelona.

Montserrat was extremely overcrowded and, for us, a huge disappointment. The cable car ride up was the best part of the excursion.

Day 2 will be more challenging than you may be anticipating, because you'll need to pre-purchase timed tickets for all four of those sights (assuming you plan to go inside) to avoid grotesque ticket lines. That means you'll have to guess how much time you'll want to spend in each one, how much travel time to allow between them and where and for how long you'll want to eat lunch.

Note also that you may be distinctly sleep-deprived and jetlagged on your arrival day, and your plans have you in pickpocket territory. They're pros; you may be walking zombies.
