Has anyone stayed at Hotel Lleo in Barcelona? It’s on Rick’s list in Barcelona travel book. Hoping it’s family friendly and good locale.

We just checked into Hotel Atlantis this morning and really like it so far. It’s a 3 * hotel about a block from Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla. It’s in Rick’s book but not at all like the description. I don’t find our room “slightly dated”, a quibble I had with descriptions of places we stayed in Italy last Spring. The room is nice and costs the same as a Comfort Inn or BW+ in the US. And so far, the staff have been friendly and helpful.

I just noticed today that Hotel Lleo is right next door to Hotel Atlantis, where we’re staying. It’s a good location. Hope that helps.

I can highly recommend Hotel Jazz. Great location, wonderful staff, fabulous breakfasts, comfy beds, and a rooftop patio where you can hang out at your leisure. Or order lunch or whatever from noon on. Just returned from a month in Spain and this was our favorite hotel. Only caveat: bathroom lighting it bad.
