Hotel HLG CityPark Pelayo, Calle Pelayo, 1 Eixample 08001 Barcelona
Location seems good, but other reviews are all over the place (good, bad, etc)
Requesting feedback on this place please.
I am trying alternate hotels but it seems all places are sold out at this time.

I think it's a great spot esp. if you like the University district vibe -- college people, affordable snacking and dining, easygoing.
It it's a first visit to Barcelona so you're doing the usual sites, it's a few minutes farther walk away but nothing arduous . Most schools will not be in session yet, I'm assuming, so things might be less crowded in the immediate vicinity , which is another plus.
